İmralı delegation to visit Southern Kurdistan

NEWS CENTRE - DEM Party Imrali Delegation will go to Southern Kurdistan next weekend and make a series of visits.
 
The Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Imrali Delegation, which has met Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı twice, continues its contacts and meetings with different segments of the society and the circles related to the Kurdish question. This weekend the delegation will visit the Kurdistan Regional Government and meet with the officials of the Regional Government. The delegation will include Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder, members of the İmralı Delegation, DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır, members of the Foreign Relations Commission and party members.
 
DEM Party made the following statement regarding the delegation's visit:
 
"The delegation will meet with Massoud Barzani and Nechirvan Barzani in Hewlêr (Erbil) on Sunday 16 February. On Monday, 17 February, the delegation will go to Sulaymaniyah and meet with YNK Leader Bafil Talabani, Kubat Talabani and YNK officials. During the visits, the details of the talks held in İmralı will be shared and the opinions, suggestions and thoughts of those concerned regarding the process will be received and then conveyed to Mr Öcalan.
 
Our delegation had previously met with political parties with groups in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and with Figen Yüksekdağ, Selahattin Demirtaş, Leyla Güven and other imprisoned politicians, and conveyed the suggestions, opinions and thoughts received from these meetings to Öcalan.
 
On the other hand, our party informed the public about these activities through public meetings and rallies with wide participation in 42 centres and conveyed the opinions, suggestions, concerns and expectations of the public to the İmralı Delegation in the form of reports."
