ANKARA - The DEM Party Imrali Delegation has shared the details of its meeting with President Tayyip Erdoğan with the public.

 

Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreya Önder, members of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Imrali Delegation, met with President Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex at 13.30.

 

The Imrali Delegation issued a written statement on the meeting which lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes.

 

The following statements were included in the statement:

 

"Our meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his delegation took place in an extremely positive, constructive, productive and promising atmosphere.

 

The importance of the point reached in the process was confirmed and the next stages were mutually evaluated. It was expressed that a period without violence and conflict, in which democratic and political space will be strengthened, is of vital importance for our country, our citizens and our region.

 

Our delegation and our party will continue to work to realise the Call for Peace and Democratic Society with an even stronger will and care in the coming period. We are honoured to inform the whole country that we are more hopeful today than yesterday.

 

We express our gratitude to all political parties and social segments that have strengthened the process with their suggestions, warnings and criticisms."
