NEWS CENTER - In 47 days of protests in Iran and Rojhilat, 6,572 people were killed, including 219 children and 6,506 protesters, as well as 66 civilians who did not participate in the protests.

The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) released its 47-day report on the protests that began in Iran and Rojhilat and spread across the country. According to HRANA's report, it has been confirmed that 7,005 people were killed in the protests. The report states that 6,572 people were killed, including 219 children, 6,506 protesters, and 66 civilians who did not participate in the protests, while 214 people affiliated with the regime lost their lives. The report notes that 11,730 deaths are still under investigation. The report stated that 25,845 protesters were injured, 53,166 people, including 136 students, were arrested, and 11,051 were summoned for questioning.

The report noted that, in addition to the violent methods used by the regime's forces to suppress protests, it began blocking SIM cards alongside internet blackouts aimed at disrupting protesters' communications. HRANA's report described the blocking of SIM cards as follows: "As part of ongoing control measures, numerous reports emerged of citizens' SIM cards being suddenly blocked. A number of users, including journalists, stated that their access to phone calls and text messaging services was cut off without prior official notification. In some cases, this action was accompanied by the confiscation of mobile phones, laptops, and identity documents such as passports, national ID cards, and birth certificates."

Pressure in schools

The HRANA report, which also refers to a report prepared on the subject by the Iranian Teachers' Unions Coordination Council, states that the regime's forces have transferred their pressure mechanism from the streets to schools, saying, "According to the Council's report, people outside the education staff, such as Basij members, clerics, and agents in civilian clothes, have entered schools with pre-planned programs. It goes on to define the role of these individuals as ‘ideological screening’ and applying psychological pressure on students. Referring to repeated interrogations and threatening questions, the Council stated that the atmosphere in some schools has become filled with anxiety and tension. The organization had previously reported that at least 200 students were killed during the protests."
