NEWS CENTRE - Political prisoners in prisons stated that the international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues in Rojava, saying, “We must take action against the plans of the conspiratorial forces everywhere.”

Political prisoners in prisons issued a written statement regarding the anniversary of the international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The statement condemned the dark forces involved in the February 15 conspiracy, saying, “The forces behind the conspiracy have not abandoned their plans. Therefore, we must be vigilant and take action against the logic and plans of these conspiratorial forces everywhere.”

'February 15 was a genocidal attack'

The statement continued: "On February 15, 1999, the internationally organized conspiracy against our people and movement, embodied in our leadership, was a genocidal attack that sought to leave not even a shred of hope. Our leadership, which made extraordinary efforts to thwart the international conspiracy aimed at pitting the peoples of Anatolia and Mesopotamia against each other, prevented the conspirators from achieving their goal. Led by Halit Oral, Aynur Artan, and Selamet Menteş, they formed a ring of fire around our leadership with the slogan “You cannot darken our sun,” dealing the first deadly blow to the logic of the conspiratorial forces. Millions of hearts, shouting “We will either be a fireball and exist freely with our leadership, or we will not exist at all,” became one with our leadership.

The conspiracy continues in Rojava

Our leadership has succeeded in showing everyone, friend and foe alike, how to resist the conspiratorial forces by thoroughly analyzing the logic of the civilization system. It has made everyone accept an approach that aims to turn Imrali Island into a main base for building the strategic unity of the peoples of Anatolia and Mesopotamia. Today, the same forces have launched a new conspiracy plan targeting Kurdish-Arab conflict in Rojava, aimed at countering the peace and democratic solution initiative launched by our leadership. Both the efforts demonstrated by our leadership on Imrali and the decision of our people and movement to resist collectively and take action have largely thwarted this plan. However, the forces behind the conspiracy have not abandoned their plans. Therefore, we must remain vigilant and take action against the logic and plans of these conspiratorial forces everywhere.

With gratitude and respect to the martyrs

We condemn all the dark forces involved in the international conspiracy with great hatred and resentment. We remember all our martyrs with great respect and gratitude, in the persons of our comrades Halit Oral, Aynur Artan, and Selamet Menteş, who set themselves on fire during the conspiracy and played a leading role in dismantling the conspiracy networks woven around the leadership.”
